I love to journal jump. I read pretty much anything on VR that catches my eye both on and off line. What I have seen over the past couple of years is how each journal has its own set of friends that comment each others entries. I think that’s cool and inspiring as it encourages the writer to add more entries, which can lead to them developing a sense of ’who they are’ to the reader. I tend to give more time to writers who write coherently and visit my journal, I hope that doesn’t make me cliquey.

The other interesting thing I have seen over the years is how a newcomer thinks they understand the internal workings of VR and then begins to moan or bash VR and its members, then after a year or so their journal entries change as if a light has been switched on and they write about themselves or things that interest them and seem to leave the drama behind, unfortunately this doesn’t happen in all cases. Their maturity shines and it then becomes a pleasure to read about them and I smile and sometimes ‘relate’.

I wonder if I was to compile my favourite or recommended journal list and put it in my journal, would that lead to drama?!

Today is St. Georges day. I can't help thinking how unpatriotic we are in England. With the sun shining I find myself wishing it was declared a bank holiday! The poor guy slayed a dragon and we do nowt to commemerate it! We do more for Paddy Day damn it!!!

At work some people can take us by surprise. A colleague was talking to a 94 year old lady when out the blue she asked him for our web address. It just tickled me was all.
